Aytek Celik

Aytek Çelik is an entrepreneur working to solve problems in health care and medical research by applying Web 2.0 communication tools and collective intelligence. Previously, Aytek worked at Yahoo, most recently as senior manager for Local Search and Local Advertising products. She has also founded an Internet Appliance startup backed by consumer electronics firm Vestel, and worked in the early days at KnowNow. Aytek holds a BA degree in Economics from Yale University and a certificate from the Kyoto Center for Japanese Studies.
