Ms. Dusseault has been involved in Internet protocol design since 1994 and in standardization since 1997. Her primary interests are in collaborative software, including Calendaring, Instant Messaging, and shared authoring. She has served as co-chair of the IMAP Extensions, Calendar Simplifications, WebDAV and XMPP Working Groups. Ms. Dusseault is the author of the standard book on WebDAV, "WebDAV: Next-Generation Collaborative Web Authoring" (Prentice Hall, 2003). She is currently serving as IETF Applications Area Director.
Prior to joining Commerce Net, Ms. Dusseault was a standards architect and development manager at the Open Source Applications Foundation, where she managed the Cosmo calendar server team and was responsible for the design of CalDAV, an open and interoperable protocol for calendar access and sharing. She has also served as the Director of Server Development at Xythos, and as a Program Manager at Microsoft on a number of projects including Exchange and Microsoft Internet Chat Server. Ms. Dusseault holds a BASc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
